Affectionally known as the Harlem Holiday Lights parade. This annual event was a soothing relief after being shut down for more than a year, due to the Covid19 Pandemic shutdown. CovantNYC was the guest of The Soul City Network, along with Anaj Enterprises. We started the parade road trip with a festive warm up reception with Gale Brewer, the Manhattan Borough President, located at her office; afterwards, we boarded our float that was preceded by the Grand Marshal's, Nick Cannon. This photo essay is a snapshot from the perspective of the float we were on that was sponsored by the Harlem Community Development Corporation. It was a cold night, but the heat was up from all of the dancing and holiday cheer onboard.
